Silyfeed® A is a 100 % natural feed supplement designed for adult horses and camels indeed to protect and regenerate their liver cells, increase the antioxidation capacity of blood and improve the immunity of the whole organism against oxidative stress.
Silyfeed® A is suitable for horses and camels which are subject to simple physical loads, changes in their physiological processes (e.g. gravidity, onset of lactation, change of climate) and during convalescent periods.
Silyfeed® A is a feed supplement based on the processed fruit of Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum (L.), Gaertner) developed with the aim to increase mechanically the content of active substances (flavonolignans) while preserving their high bio-availability, and to suppress some adverse sensory features of the Milk Thistle fruit, such as bitter taste that prevents intake of the Milk Thistle fruit by certain animal species.
The main benefit of this feed supplement when supplied to animals, consist in an improvement of their health based on supporting of the liver functions and its regeneration. These effects result from active substances contained the fruit of Milk Thistle, namely flavonolignans, well known as Silymarin.
Dosage:
Demanding training: 100 g per animal / day throughout the course of training.
Before competition: 150 g per animal / day, 7 days before and 7 days after the event.
Prevention of motility disorders (gastrointestinal): 80 g per animal / day continuously.
Administration:
Silyfeed® A is either administrated blended with dry or green feed ration or can be fed separately.
